Hi, just wondering, will the source code for some of the demos shown during flash camp be published?

Thank you, Adobe, for a fun and informative time at this year’s SF FlashCamp event. I’m pleased that you are both continuing to make the Flash platform open source as well as providing such kick-ass products to make the most efficient use of them. And you were definitely tops in hospitality as well.

As a side issue (but definitely an issue), I have to wonder if software, like ships or cars, has a gender. I ask because of the t-shirt you distributed that evening, depicting a (male) Flex presenting a (female) Photoshop with flowers and a gift of (apparently neuter) Flash Catalyst (see While not normally one to look a gift horse in the mouth, even a promotional one, being gay I would have a hard time wearing this one and feeling good about it. I acknowledge that budget-wise it probably wouldn’t have made sense to come out with male-female, male-male and female-female versions–after all, you did provide a range of sizes as opposed to the default XL that so many vendors give out–yet I wonder if a different metaphor would have been better for the shirt such that anyone in the heavily gay Bay Area would feel comfortable wearing it. After all, I presume the idea of producing these shirts is giving folks something they would be likely to wear.

Thanks for listening, and keep up with all those great products and ideas.

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry if you were offended, and will consider your input for future t-shirts.

btw, the characters don’t represent the products, but rather a designer and developer.
